Nobu Luxurious Expansion: New Hotel and Residences Set for Saadiyat Island in 2026

Nobu

Abu Dhabi – Scheduled to open in 2026 on Saadiyat Island, the Nobu Hotel will have 165 luxurious guestrooms and suites, including the special Nobu Villa. Nobu Hospitality and Alder Properties shared their plans for this new hotel, and we’re here to give you an idea of what’s coming. But before that, let’s talk about why this is a big deal for Nobu, a brand that’s becoming a major player in the luxury lifestyle scene.

Nobu was founded by Nobu Matsuhisa, Robert De Niro, and Meir Teper. It’s a well-known brand with operations all over the world, offering the ultimate destination lifestyle experience. Since the first Nobu Hotel opened in Las Vegas in 2013, the brand has been growing steadily, with 30 hotels in various stages of development.

After recent openings in Dubai, Mexico, and Vietnam, Nobu’s newest hotel will be on its own island. Saadiyat Island is famous for its mix of leisure, business, residential, and cultural activities. The island is home to free-roaming gazelles, white-sand beaches, and critically endangered Hawksbill turtles. It also boasts the world’s largest collection of cultural assets, including the Louvre Abu Dhabi, the Natural History Museum, the Guggenheim Abu Dhabi, and the Zayed National Museum, among other attractions. Visitors and residents can enjoy a premier waterfront golf course and relax on the island’s beautiful white beaches.

Next to the hotel, just a seven-minute drive from downtown Abu Dhabi, there will be Nobu branded residences. These residences include multi-bedroom waterfront homes and penthouses with clear views of the Guggenheim Abu Dhabi. Positioned in a prime location on the island, the Nobu Residences will be among the most sought-after addresses in the region.
